When should I renew?
Renew before your license expires so you don't lose coverage. We email a reminder about 30 days before expiration with a direct link to start. If your license already lapsed, you can still renew. The process is the same and an independent Puerto Rico-licensed physician reviews your case.
How to renew online
If you had a license before, you mark the renewal option on the form and declare your prior license. We coordinate the rest: collecting your documents, arranging the physician evaluation, and following up with the Department of Health. No in-person visits.
- Start your renewal online. Open the form, choose “Renewal,” and confirm your details. About 5 minutes from your phone.
- Upload your ID. A valid government-issued ID and, when required, a selfie to verify your identity.
- Pay $99.99 all-in. The total includes Puerto Rico tax and government fees, with no hidden charges.
- Independent physician evaluation. A Puerto Rico-licensed physician reviews your renewal and makes the clinical decision independently.
- Receive your documents. When approved, the official license is issued by the Department of Health and emailed to you.
Express renewal
In a hurry? The express lane prioritizes your review, typically within the hour, with priority human handling. Priority review does not guarantee approval or the date the annual license will be issued. Ask the team which documents are needed for the express option before paying.
Renewal reminders and payment
We do not offer automatic annual billing or store cards for renewal. A reminder helps you start, but each renewal needs a new application and confirmed payment. Medical evaluation and official issuance remain separate steps. Contact [email protected] if you need help with your previous license.
How much does renewal cost?
Renewal is $99.99 all-in, the same transparent price, with tax and government fees already included and no add-ons. Express review costs $179.99 including tax for priority handling. Payment applies to this application; it does not start a subscription or guarantee approval.
